![]() ![]() Enjoy the breathtaking views from the second highest summit in Dartmoor National Park before heading south the the summit of High Willhayes. From there, you will turn more directly to the south and continue slogging your way uphill along the slopes of West Mill Tor before arriving at Yes Tor. Setting out from the car park at the Meldon Quarry, you will make your way to the southeast and climb up the steep hillside until you arrive at the summit of Black Down. Additionally, this area is fairly exposed to the elements, so remember to bring an extra layer or windproof jacket to protect yourself against the weather. Be sure that you are confident in your physical fitness and wear proper walking boots with good ankle support for the best footing on the trail. Walking the High Willhayes and Yes Tor Circular Trail will take you up to the two highest points in Dartmoor National Park - High Willhayes (621m), Yes Tor (619m) - although to do so you will need to traverse some steep and rugged terrain.
